Due to a Russian bot invasion (with offers of oral sex, regretfully declined), I have moved to inubuta. I've added most of the active posters on my existing list, plus a few who are pretending they are dead (hemera_oneiroi and julineci are notable examples), but whom I love anyway.

Nothing cheers me up the way FMA does, and since there isn't much by way of fic for my favourite pairing, I've resorted to scanning short stories of my next favourite pairing =).

I promised sinistera that I would help her pimp this out, although what she's hoping for me to accomplish when my friends list is the size of a mite compared to hers I don't know.

Oh a whim, I'm thinking of starting a challenge community where, every month, I'll (or some one will) post up the track listing of a CD. Any CD. Preferably in a language we can all understand. But anyway, the challenge is to create a piece for each tracklisting, and each piece must be at least loosely connected to each other. Fanworks and original are all welcome, as long as you stick to the theme you had chosen for that month.

So for example, for November I'll post up the tracklisting to Starfucker's latest and I might decide to do Amatsuki fanfiction. For all of November, I can only post Amatsuki fanfics. This whole 'connecting' thing is a lot more tricky with original, but I would say--include something in the story that makes it obvious that all the stories connect with each other. You can connect them with an umbrella theme (rainy days, seasons, tarot, etc) or you can connect them by using the same characters.

I don't know how many people would be interested. (I only know one LOL.)

I also don't know if artists will be interested. So, if this is only going to be for writers, I would say, one short story (250-1000 words) per tracklisting. No chapters. The stories must be able to stand alone. If artists want to join, I would say, one artwork per tracklisting. No 4koma, no sketches.

EDIT: I'm also thinking about including photography? A picture for each tracklisting. No extreme photomanipulation .. like, uh, you can change the colors and touch up skin or whatever but no like ... putting anteaters in the middle of the scene ...

The way I see it it's meant to be a double challenge. You have to match your short pieces with the tracklisting and loosely ensure theme continuity (not restricted by the tracklisting) between the pieces. You will have to do 10-12 short pieces a month max. I'm supposed to be playing if this works out (I think sinistera's going to regret asking me), so please join in the craziness.

I'm very happy that you're writing for me, and am really looking forward to whatever you come up with. I read anything, be it gen, slash, or femslash (although admittedly very few in this category). I'm not a fan of humour in the fandoms I've requested, but if you do write humour I would be very interested in reading it. I don't have many squicks beyond character-bashing and unjustified character torture (as in whore!fic, rape!fic, slave!fic etc), so please go all out and surprise me.

I really like character analysis (as is probably rather obvious from my requests), self-doubt, emotional conflicts, thwarting, character clashes, regrets, and drunken conversations.

Fandom-specific details
If you're writing for Blade of the Immortal (and please allow me to declare my undying love for you if you are), I would like to add that I'm also very interested in Anotsu/Magatsu (in any relationship) and Anotsu/Makie (the obvious). I don't really have any preferences in pairing orders - especially when it comes to Manji/Magatsu - if you're writing smut, but if you do Anotsu x Magatsu you will absolutely make my day, as it's one of my hidden kinks probably destined to wither in some dark corner of my brain. I do admit I'm not a fan of threesomes or orgies, but if you have a wonderful idea you feel is worth pursuing please go all out.

If you're here for ASoIaF do whatever you will with the characters I've requested. I'm so in love with and in awe of this fandom that anything with what I've requested would be absolutely wonderful.

Glinda/Elphaba or Crope/Tibbett for Wicked would be the obvious choices if you're choosing to go with the first theme I've requested. I don't really see the possibility of the former and I'm really much in love with the Fiyero/Elphaba interaction, but you're welcome to convince me of it. Crope/Tibbett I wouldn't mind seeing more of, but I would like it if you expand it beyond the two to people around them and how they react to the relationship. Any exposition on Tibbett's experience in the Philosophy Club and his gradual descent into insanity is also something I would be interested in. Racial/species discrimination I think has been pretty well done in the series, as is socialism and the class struggles, but if you would like to explore these further please do so, especially in respect of the latter.

All said, please do not limit yourself to whatever I've described. In fact, that's a demand in of itself. I have my kinks but what I'm really interested in is a fresh perspective on my fandoms. Anything you deliver will be very much loved.

Unfortunately, there was a glitch in my Yuletide request form that I failed to spot before the deadline - I did not request Xenosaga as a fandom. I have absolutely no knowledge of the game, and am unlikely to play it anytime in the near future. If your match was actually Xenosaga, I would very much appreciate it if you could contact the mods to have them act as a go-between so that I can frantically brush up on my knowledge of the game just so I can enjoy your fic/or we can actually figure out an alternative.
